Our Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Licence Training allows you to obtain a licence to operate a prime mover attached to a single semi-trailer with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of over 9 tons.

You can apply for this licence after holding a valid WA C class license for at least 3 or Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) licence for 12 months. With HC licence, you’ll be equipped to drive articulated trucks with three or more axles, such as a prime mover towing a semi-trailer or a heavy rigid vehicle pulling a trailer that exceeds 9 tons.

From containers to tippers or tankers, this training is essential for anyone planning to drive heavy combination vehicles.

Eligibility Requirements for HC Training Course

Before you can take the test, you must meet specific requirements. An individual must:

Hold a current WA C-Class driver's licence.
Have an Australian MR or HR driver's licence for at least 12 months.
Provide secondary proof of identity.
Applicants are required to take the eyesight test when applying for heavy vehicle driver's license.The eyesight can be conducted at the DOT office or agent whenever you apply for your licence or at the RTO office if you decide to be trained and & assessed by them.If you use visual aids to pass the eyesight test, So you can not drive without visual aids because there will be a condition on your license.
Applicants are required to declare any kind of health and medical condition which impairs their ability to control a heavy vehicle.

If you’re planning to obtain your licence with us there will be two days face to face 8 hours training and assessment included.
